Experimental investigation of nonlinear dynamical phenomena and modeling in DC or RF discharge plasma in presence of external magnetic field

The BRNS-DAE, Govt. of India Project amounting to 24 Lakhs from 2014-2017 is a Venture initiated by Dr. Bornali Sarma, Associate Professor – School of Advanced Sciences. The project researches on the nonlinear dynamical phenomena and modeling in DC/RF discharge plasma in presence of external magnetic field. Several nonlinear studies such as “Order to Chaos transition”, “Complexity dynamics, “Inverse and normal homoclinic bifurcation” etc. in different plasma configurations have been carried out. Moreover, complexity and onset of chaos control in DC glow discharge magnetized plasma using all pass filter circuit model have also been investigated.
