The Admissions Office is in charge of handling all aspects regarding admissions to the various Undergraduate, Postgraduate and research scholar programmes. This includes preparation of the question paper for the VITEEE and VITMEE entrance exams. They also manage the paper correction, counselling and handle the formalities of the selected students.

The International Relations office is responsible for handling all the international tie-ups and MoUs with colleges worldwide. They also engage in helping students of our college get internships and foreign admissions after their studies here. The IR office also takes care of the students who come to our university from other countries by co-ordinating with all departments and making sure they have a very pleasant experience in our university.

The Students Welfare looks after the various issues regarding permissions and supports the various events of clubs and chapters. The SW office also works closely with the Students Council body of the college and addresses the various concerns of students if any come up.

The Office of Corporate Communications & Media Relations is in charge of advertising about the university and the various events that take place inside its campus. They are responsible for the proper documentation of events and publicizing them through the media. They also handle the organization of all the college festivals and actively work towards making them successes.

Centre for Technical Support (CTS) maintains the policies governing the use of VIT computing and IT communication resources. The IT Policy applies to the resources administered by the administrative departments such as Library, Computer Laboratories, Offices of the Institution, Hostels and Guest houses wherever the network facility was provided by the Institution.

Further, all the faculty, students, staff, departments, authorized visitors/visiting faculty and others who may be granted permission to use the IT Infrastructure, and must comply with the guidelines. Certain violations of IT policy laid down by VIT by any institution member may even result in disciplinary action against the offender by the institution authorities.

The acceptable use policies are applicable to Employees, Students, and Vendors & Visitors. CTS has framed various policy like Procurement, Installation, of Hardware, Network and software. E-mail account has been facilitated to Employee and students under E-mail Use policy which is reviewed and maintained whenever the modification happens. Website Hosting and Database Usage policy has its method and hierarchy which is followed systematically.

IT Infrastructure

IT infrastructure has been widely spread across connecting 24 buildings with very high-speed robust network backbone. Our Computer network is built on CISCO switching platform with backbone running on 10Gig at present. 12000+ IP enabled devices are connected to this fast network. Understanding the demands of faculty and students to use digital media for their research, teaching & learning process, 15Gbps of internet bandwidth is made available through three major Internet service providers.

Over 2275 WIFI access points are positioned across the campus to facilitate internet access to our students, faculty and guests while they are in the campus. Seamless internet access given to students through Hotspots and well planned WIFI network at Hostel rooms.

The finance office is located in the Administrative Building of our University. The name being self- explanatory, it deals with all the academic and other miscellaneous payments that are to be made by students such as course registrations, various hostel related payments like mess , rooms etc or registration for co-curricular activities such as sports , gym etc. During the open hours (Mon-Sat 9-5PM) , a student is free to go and enquire about any issue related to payments made or to be made in the future.

The Purchase Office is located in the Administrative Building. It deals with all the purchases that need to be done on behalf of the University on various occasions. The Estates Office manages all the issues concerning the property of the institution. Right from maintaining the lush green gardens to caring for the concrete wonders, the office manages the arrangement, preparation and allocation of venues for various events. The estates team maintains large campus and constantly works on preserving and embellishing the premises.
