For the ITP class of students entering VIT in 2016 for the first two years of study will have the option to undergo the last three years of study at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York starting 2018 in the following programs:

B.S. and M.S. Electrical Engineering
B.S. and M.S. Microelectronic Engineering

Since RIT’s undergraduate engineering programs require mandatory work experience in industry of one year before graduation, the students from VIT will be required to spend a total of three years at RIT. However, the students will get to work for a year on co-op and earn a salary for the year. In addition, the students will have the option to earn two degrees in engineering, namely a B.S. and a M,S.

The minimum criteria for admission as a transfer student are as follows:
TOEFL score of 80 or above before the end of the 2nd year of study at VIT
Grade point of average of 8.0 or above during the first two years of study at VIT
No standing arrears in any of the subjects
Meeting proof of finances to complete the last two years study in the USA

The minimum estimated cost of education for international students, entering the university in 2016 is as follows:
Tuition fees: US $ 36,000.
Room and board: US $11,000.
Other expenses: unspecified.
