Research
Ph.D.
- The Division of Mathematics offers full-time Ph.D programmes in Mathematics which are inter/ multi and transdisciplinary in nature. The program starts with a mandatory course work scheme decided by the expert panel. With the state of the art facilities, opportunities are immense for scholars to choose the area of research under the able supervision of our faculty. To ascertain and assess the research goal, several research meetings take place to advise and mentor the scholars towards excellent research output. Finally, a thesis is submitted as a mandatory component for evaluation by experts in India and abroad before awarding the degree. Some of the main research areas of our faculty are listed below:
- Automata Theory
- Complex Analysis
- Computational Fluid Dynamics
- Cosmology
- Data/Text Mining and Clustering
