Semester Abroad Programmes

The Semester Abroad Program (SAP) was introduced with an aim to encourage students from both the undergraduate and postgraduate streams to pursue their final semester in a university abroad. For the final year 8th or 4th semester, 20 credit project, the interested Students go to the partner university that has selected them and spend 5-6 months there undertaking the project. With the guidance of the internal guide, they come back to finish the formalities for the completion of the course. Some of the advantages of this program to the students are:

A platform to work with foreign professors on cutting –edge research

An exposure to state-of-the-art-facilities abroad and the cutting edge technologies followed
A value addition to the students’ Resume
A platform for pursuing higher education

Procedures

Every year the office of International Relations conducts a roadshow to explain the procedures for applying to SAP during the month of February / March.
Online application would be communicated through Intranet to the students.
Fill the application, upload your resume, statement of purpose(SOP) and transcript of marks in a single PDF
Print and submit duly signed SAP application with hard copy of proof of income, undertaking/NOC form from your parents, SAP Fee payment receipt and any other document as communicated by the Office of International Relations.
