The Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE), DRDO – CHENNAI Project amounting to Rs 27.64 LAKHS from 01.02.2018 – 31.01.2020 is an ongoing Venture initiated Dr. Lenin N C, Associate Professor – School of Electrical Engineering. The Project researches on the ‘Analysis and Design of Traction Motor for Hybrid Electric Tracked Vehicle’ discussing the design and analysis of traction motor that could satisfy the requirement of tracked vehicle are Induction machine, Permanent magnet synchronous machine (Axial and Radial) and Switched reluctance machine.
