The programme is aimed to disseminate and share knowledge in the field of Thermo-Chemical conversion technologies for production of energy. Areas of coal combustion, carbon sequestration, geothermal energy, coal and biomass gasification, chemical looping combustion in fluidized beds, gasifier-fuel-cell hybrid systems and exergy analysis will be addressed by the invited speakers. Also, sessions involving hands on training to model and simulate thermal energy systems including several of the above will be conducted using the software Cycle-Tempo, developed by Asimptote, The Netherlands.
