– It has three phases, pretreatment (or preparation), coloration (dyeing or printing) and finishing. Finishing is the final step in the fabric manufacturing process and it gives special functionalities to textiles.
– It involves chemical treatment to improve the aesthetic value of the fabric, yarn and fiber.
