Dr.P.K.Manoharan, former Registrar, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore served for 33 years in various capacities, namely, Dean (College Development Council), Director (Research & Development Centre), Programme Co-ordinator, (National Service Scheme) in Bharathiar University.

Dr. K. Sathiyanarayanan has joined VIT, Vellore as a Lecturer in Chemistry in 1994 immediately after his Ph.D. He occupied many posts like First Year Coordinator, Professor in Charge of Library, Chief Warden and Dean.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Chemistry of Society. He is having more than 150 papers and 3 patents to his credit. He is working in the field of sensors and Organic Light Emitting Diodes. He did his Post-Doctoral research in Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KREI) at Changwon, South Korea in the development of Zn-Air battery.

He has completed two sponsored projects from funding agencies and two consultancy projects from Industries. He has supervised 15 Ph.D. students and currently guiding 6 students.
