The Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE), DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India Project amounting to Rs. 23.79 Lakhs July 2016 – June 2017 is an ongoing Venture initiated by Dr. Lenin N C, Associate Professor – School of Electrical Engineering. The Project researches on the ‘Technological and Conceptual Assessment of Design and Development of Electrical Generators, Power Converters and Controllers for Mobile Electric Hybrid Power Systems’ discussing the Conceptual and technological assessment of different types of electrical generators and controllers applicable for mobile electric hybrid power systems (MEHPS) and Modeling, design and simulation of 5 kW (MEHPS-L) and 15 kW (MEHPS-M) electrical generators for high power density.
