The VITSOL Legal Aid Clinic was inaugurated on November 4, 2015, by
Hon’ble Justice Mr. Satish Kumar Agnihotri (Former Executive Chairperson, Tamil Nadu Legal Services Authority)
and Hon’ble Justice Mr. B Rajendran.
The Clinic is managed by the VITSOL Legal Aid Committee and works to make legal services accessible to weaker
sections of society. The Committee includes faculty members and dedicated student volunteers who engage in
initiatives such as Legal Awareness Camps, Speed Mentoring Sessions in Government Schools, Street Plays,
Free Legal Aid Camps, Street Vendor Engagement Camps, Lok Adalat assistance, Prison Legal Aid Clinic support,
and collaborations with TNLSA, DLSA and NGOs.
The Committee imbibes a deep sense of social responsibility among law students, inspiring them to serve
society and contribute meaningfully to the justice system.
