VIT Chennai Makes Waves in Norway!

We’re incredibly proud to announce that our very own Dreadnought Robotics has secured SECOND PLACE at the TAC Challenge Norway 2024!🏆

This prestigious competition, hosted by the Tau Autonomy Centre, saw 13 teams from around the world compete in challenging underwater tasks, including:

– Subsea Pipeline Inspection
– Subsea Object Detection & Valve Intervention
– Autonomous Subsea Docking & Wireless Power & Data Transfer

Dreadnought Robotics stood out with their fully autonomous Subsea Docking – the only team to achieve this! 👏 They also became the first Asian team to secure a top-three position in this global competition.

This remarkable achievement is a testament to the team’s dedication, hard work, and exceptional skills. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the members of Dreadnought Robotics!

Special thanks to our Faculty Coordinator, Dr. Karunamurthy HoD/SMEC, for their guidance and support.
