Team QuinProc won the 4th position in Swadeshi Microprocessor challenge by MEITY
VIT Team QuinProc have showcased POC on “Wireless Maternal Health Monitoring System” in the Swadeshi Microprocessor challenge [https://innovate.mygov.in/swadeshi-microprocessor-challenge/] organized by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, held in Indian habitat center, New Delhi on 2-3, December 2021.
Out of the 30 finalists, 19 were startups and 11 from educational institutions.
The team has received the fourth prize award of Rs 20 Lakhs.

The first three places were bagged by startups.
Earlier, As a finalist, the team received a cash prize of 4,00,000. Also, received 1, 00,000, and the FPGA Board ported with Swadeshi Processor as a semi-finalist

The Scope of the Swadeshi Microprocessor challenge, announced by MeitY ( Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology) is to provide a strong ecosystem of start-ups, innovators & researchers in the country made available by IIT Madras (Sakthi processors) and C-DAC (Vega processors), to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship by taking up complex designs in the country and innovate frugal solutions around home-grown processor ecosystem, catering to both global and domestic requirements.
The incubation support to the winning teams will be provided by MeitY.
