Students of VIT Chennai had a taste of ‘esports’ at the campus on Thursday, October 17. A huge truck containing multiple gaming consoles welcomed students and they had a chance to try their hand at X1 Racing simulation.

The simulation gives a feel of X1 Racing is about. X1 Racing league has been in the formative stage for about one year now and will be launched properly in November in multiple cities in India with international racers at the helm of high speed cars. In Chennai, the X1 Racing event will be held at Irungattukottai.

After registration, VIT students took part in the simulation tests inside and those who complete a lap in the best time will be selected for next event to be held on Sunday at Phoenix Mall Chennai. The final winners of the X1 Racing simulation held at multiple venues will even get a chance to get trained on F1 Racing by none other than Arman Ebrahim, Co-Founder, X1 Racing League.
